Being a Receptionist was my first job. It was at the family business. Here I learned to be responsible and to be fast. I was still a teenager at the time I worked there so for me at that time, waking up early was not fun. Also I had to postpone some activities with friends since I had to stay home and work at the business. But looking back this was good, because it taught me to be responsible for work since a young age. It taught me to be fast since I had to help customers fast because the business was always full and we can't let the customers wait too long, so you had to be fast and efficient.

Rotterdam And The Hague

Last year I worked with PicNic. PicNic is a online supermarket where you place your orders online and they deliver it to you. I used to work 10 hour shifts every weekend. Sometimes I had to work in the IT department since I am good at this. I had to store their data in their software. I had an amazing time with all my co-workers since they were all friendly and we communicated very good with eachother. We had to speak fluent Dutch and English but preferably English since there were a lot of international workers. My critical thinking was also good when I used to work there since I had the chance to be in the same room as the manager. I used to tell him some ideas on how the process could be faster and more efficient. One example was when I came with the idea of fixing the replenishment process to speed things up. By coming with this idea I got the worker of the month award.
