I am leading the discovery phase of the Unified Genomic Record project, focusing on stakeholder management, governance, and strategic alignment. My role involves managing key stakeholders across multiple suppliers, facilitating working groups, and ensuring genomic data governance and compliance in preparation for Ministerial Direction. Additionally, I contribute to the design and implementation of the Genomics Unit’s Target Operating Model, optimising organisational structure, as well as designing and implementing a robust incident, problem, change and risk management processes.I also led the deployment of a new Cancer Decision Support Tool (DSS) into live service, overseeing service transition, as well as the decommissioning of the previous DSS. In addition, I managed the delivery of a case management tool for the Genomic Laboratory Hubs, overseeing supplier relationships and technical solution delivery. I designed and implemented a secure Third-Party Integrator process for genomic data access, establishing governance frameworks, risk management protocols, and an assurance board to ensure data security and compliance.Project Manager - Integrating Care Programme - NHS Digital 2019 – 2020I played a key role in the successful delivery of the NHS National Record Locator programme, a critical service that enables healthcare providers to securely retrieve patient records, including mental health crisis plans. I led the strategic and operational management of a department, overseeing tender responses, governance, and service delivery. I successfully managed a high-quality migration service generating over £1.5M annually, ensuring seamless service transitions and technical deployment. Implementing ITIL best practices in incident, problem and change management, whilst also driving the adoption of agile methodologies in application support, optimising the technical delivery process.

I project managed the large-scale migration of 4,000 GP practices to a centralised primary care platform, developing & leading a high-performing team, utilising a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. I also oversaw the design and transition of new services.

I successfully managed a development team focused on enhancing a clinical system to meet NHS Spine requirements, including Patient Demographics Service, Choose & Book, Electronic Prescribing, and Summary Care Record. I ensured timely delivery of these functionalities while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations and NHS standards.

I managed a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at delivering innovative products and services to both internal and external customers. My responsibilities included developing essential management documentation such as business cases and feasibility studies for stakeholder distribution.

I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the department, emphasising customer service excellence and efficient resource management. I implemented support strategies to enhance service delivery and ensured that second-line teams provided timely support to first-line teams, optimizing overall efficiency.I also managed a large scale customer wide migration project. I provided support for EMIS’s bespoke software and communication modules used by GP practices, focusing on three critical modules that facilitate the transfer of clinical data to Local Health Authorities.
