Alec is a partner with Robbins Alloy Belinfante and Littlefield LLC, an Atlanta-based litigation firm, where he advises businesses on commercial and regulatory matters. He has particular experience representing clients in Georgia’s regulated skill-gaming industry overseen by the Georgia Lottery Corporation. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, Tennessee, and Michigan and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and Western District of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Alec has helped clients in a variety of industries, including transportation and logistics companies, real estate developers, and product manufacturers, resolve their commercial, tort, real estate, and regulatory challenges through civil and administrative litigation and alternative dispute resolution at the trial and appellate levels. He also has represented military veterans and their families before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and is a supporter of the Emory Law Volunteer Clinic for Veterans.With the Robbins Firm, which he joined as an associate attorney in 2014, Alec has significant experience representing clients in highly regulated industries, including gaming and healthcare, in connection with regulatory compliance, licensure, and business disputes. He also has litigated voting-rights disputes in state and federal courts.Before joining the Robbins Firm, Alec practiced at King & Spalding, where he was a member of the tort litigation practice group and represented a major global transportation company in litigation in state and federal courts across the Southeast.While in law school, he served as an editor of both the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review. He also worked with the school’s Appellate Litigation Clinic, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County’s Department of Law, and as a judicial intern with the Honorable Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
