After my studies in Mathematics with a focus on Logic and its influence in mathematics education, I put my teaching skills to use in different contexts: as a project employee in an edtech project, as a teacher in secondary education and most recently as a teaching assistant in university. My interest in educational research has continued in my full-time positions, but also in my role as editor in Uitwiskeling. Also educational technology is a big interest for me. In this role I taught introductory mathematics and statistics courses at university. I also specialized myself in technological aspects of education (rewriting teaching material in LaTeX, accommodating teamwork on digital documents,...) Especially researching how to secure exams with IT (Excel for example) was one of my main interests.
With usolv-it (an online public question bank) I was responsible for different didactical aspects and support to teachers.
