I currently work as part of a 5 man operation on a telescopic double drilling rig in central Alberta. Daily duties include monitoring of motors/all functional equipment, ensuring upkeep and cleanliness, partaking in routine operations such as tripping pipe, or preparing the drilling rig to be moved. Work 15 day rotations at 12+ hours a day, in extreme elements, anything from -40 degree weather to dealing with swarms of mosquitoes..
