I’m a third-year BSc (Hons) Cybersecurity student at the University of Staffordshire, currently completing an industry placement as a Systems Engineer Intern at Fortinet, a global leader in network security. This role has provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in deploying and managing Fortinet solutions, deepening my expertise in network security, cyber operations, and technical sales.In my previous roles, I have developed a strong foundation in cybersecurity and IT support through experience in security operations, IT support and technical writing. I have conducted threat detection and response, provided IT support, and assisted with various IT infrastructure projects. These roles have strengthened my technical skills and enhanced my adaptability across various aspects of cybersecurity.My education has provided a robust foundation in cybersecurity, networking, and computer science, encompassing network security, security operations, Python programming, ethical hacking and cloud. I hold multiple certifications, including CompTIA Network+ and several Fortinet certifications, which further validate my technical skills and commitment to the field.
