Managed the inbound supply chain to assure an uninterrupted supply of raw and packaging materials for the manufacture of ice cream novelty products.Optimized inventory investment by reducing site inventory levels by $1.1 million (65%) and decreasing off-site pallet storage from 800 to 100 pallets.Coordinated packaging run outs and minimized inventory obsolescence risk leading to a $250,000 (33%) year-over-year decrease in obsolete inventory write-offs.Improved SAP’s effectiveness by editing material attributes (lead time, order quantity, safety stock, etc.), leading to an increase of auto-generated POs, a KPI, from 38% to 93%.Initiated and presented an internal logistics training program to drive manufacturing efficiencies by improving coordination and communication between operations associates and logistics team members.
