I currently sit in an adaptive role at the cross-roads of platform support and infrastructure. At any time I can be tracking down bugs in the system and resolving them to improving our cloud infrastructure. My current position calls for me to assist front line agents in troubleshooting and resolution of technical server issues that are reported. I have a responsibility to give attention to ticketed issues and track new and current issues in order to report its status to higher tiers of support. I work with bash, linux, dovecot, exim, whm, and cpanel. Some issues are coding issues with php, html, javascript and css along with multiple CMS services. I provide very basic support with coding and primarily troubleshot WordPress. As a part of my job, I take on the responsibility of some sections in our terms of service related to malware, phishing and performance. I am able to run scans and have the ability to view a servers performance and deactivate any account that may negatively affecting the shared environment. Do to my tools and access to resolve issues, I have the ability to impact the customers success in a positive manner and affect their support experience. When possible, I provide related information to the customer in order to inform and teach about the issues they are encountering and make suggestions on how to avoid any reoccurrence.

Provide customer service and technical support for VPS and Dedicated services. Trouble shooting servers issues and basic website errors. Assisting in sales by creating and passing quality leads determined by customer needs and performance. Consulting customers to improve their internet presence and reputation. Review and take appropriate action to protect servers from compromised accounts and accounts that negatively impact the server do to performance. In this department I had taken on chats and live calls for support. Was using CLI daily for better access and efficiency. Since the servers had allowed more access for the customer, I had the ability to connect to the server its and asses issues and even resolve them. Working in the advanced hosting team, I was able to increase my knowledge of whm and cpanel as it relates to the customers use and the deeper settings they provide to further customize a server.
