Sourcing and working with university, business school, NGO, government department, business and charity partners to manage and develop programmes which further the Laidlaw Foundation’s purpose – to reduce poverty and inequality by investing in the education of the underprivileged and underrepresented and to develop a new generation of diverse and ethical leaders.

The Saints Leadership Programme was originally set up to develop leadership skills for members of the University's Performance Sports teams. Every year approximately 50 students were nominated to receive additional training in areas such as culture, understanding and identifying different leadership styles, self leadership, thinking styles, followership, and resilience. During my time leading the program we have extend the course to make it available to any student (through an application and selection process) who is part of St Andrews Saints Sports team and wants to improve their leadership.

Member of SLH (Small Leading Hotels): In charge of Front Office operations: Responsible for up to 18 employees, staffing schedules, vacation schedules, end of day reports, cash and billing, annual accounts, creation and implementation of standards, personnel decisions and training new employees, member of the work safety board.

Luxury, all inclusive small cruise line. Working on board the cruise ship for the duration of a six month contract: First point of call for cruise ship passengers, complaint handling, guest services, cash and reception services.

Opening of the 5* luxury hotel in Berlin, Germany. Member of LHW (Leading Hotels of the World): In charge of conference and banqueting operations: Responsible for 5 full time employees and up to 25 temporary staff, staffing schedules, vacation schedules, creation and implementation of standards, ersonnel decisions and training of new employees, involved in hiring staff for the entire f&b department, responsible for Micros maintenance, first aid team member, duty manager responsibilities, complaint handling.

5* luxury Four Seasons Resort in Whistler B.C., Canada: Housekeeping coordinator, housekeeping supervisor and vacationcover for private residences concierge. Four Seasons Designated Trainer, complaint handling, guest services, organisation and co-ordination of housekeeping employees, supervision of housekeeping employees, special project such as uniform inventory and setting of standards for the opening of the hotel's private residences.
