I’m on a mission to amplify my positive impact on the communities to which I belong. While music has been for me a force that can foster empathy, validate experiences and empower listeners, I now want to apply my numerous skills more tangibly. I want to directly confront challenges that impede equality, limit education, restrict healthcare and deny social support.I’m armed to the teeth with a BA in English, meaning my top notch oral and written communication skills function like a world-class Swiss army knife; highly transferable and exceptionally effective. I also thoroughly enjoy analyzing, critiquing and editing dense contracts. I’ve spent the last 5 years using these gifts to successfully enhance the visibility and credibility of my company - fostering fruitful relationships with industry-leading music supervisors and licensing music to global giants like Adidas, Warner Bros, Disney and Netflix. All this coupled with my attention to detail and meticulous organization skills has equipped me to be a powerful asset. That said, I’m eager for the opportunity to gain new knowledge and to demonstrate my versatility.I’m Black, Mexican, Puerto Rican and queer - pretty much human Neapolitan ice cream. While this varied "dessert" has not been without its challenges, all these extra flavors have provided me a wealth of invaluable lived experiences. These experiences allow me to authentically and vulnerably connect with others, and they drive me to advocate passionately for communities grappling with racial injustice, struggling for equal rights for LGBTQ+ people or living with mental illness.
