I recently completed the 19-week Advanced Software Engineering Certificate from Hack Reactor. I have worked on several different web-based applications, written back and front end code, and have experience with different databases, programming languages and system design tools. Before transitioning to a Full Stack Software Engineer, I played an active role in the teaching industry for nearly six years. Previously, I taught at a Montessori school and have also worked in public, charter and private schools. With this, I have integral experience in curriculum development, team leadership and cultivating parent-teacher-student relationships. My involvement in curriculum development has demonstrated my aptitude for planning and collaborating to maximize school wide success. I have also served as a Team Lead for Middle School which fostered my understanding of important processes, such as problem solving, data analysis and school improvement.From constructing fundamental relationships with parents and students, I have exercised my intrinsic ability to work cohesively, communicate frequently and advocate for those around me. Overall, my role in the teaching industry has shaped who I am professionally, but also highlighted and strengthened my innate skills to prepare me for the future.
