Maintain and develop a portfolio of over USD450MM with established banking relationships with correspondent banks in Mexico, Central America, Chile and Venezuela. Determine customer needs and evaluate the feasibility to increase the relationship with current customers. Continuous onsite business visitations.Identify and establish new banking relationships in target countries in Latin America to support business growth. Manage administrative and operational aspects for the customers in the countries assigned. Participate in large syndicated loans offered by financial peers. Purchase bank assets in the secondary market. Maintain and develop business relationships with financial peers.Meet all regulatory and compliance requirements that are mandatory in the industry. Onsite visitations with Compliance personnel to ensure AML standards are met. Ensure compliance with Know Your Customer policies and Patriot Act Certifications. Manage the deposit and asset portfolio of the affiliates of the group. Ensure compliance with Regulation W requirements and BSA matters. Develop and execute loan participation programs with affiliates of the group.Monitor and coordinate semi-annual credit evaluations for current customers Review credit analysis to ensure quality. Make presentations to Executive Committee for approval of LOCs and special transactions. Prepare budget for volume and profitability for the countries assigned, in line with the strategy of the bank. Prepare administrative reports and presentations. Support upper management in the review of reports prepared by the Department for the Board of Directors and for banking authorities.

Analyze and evaluate large and medium size corporations as prospective borrowers for the bank. The analysis focuses on profitability, liquidity, capital structure and cash flow assessments, repayment analysis, develop pro-forma statements and cash flow projections, peer comparison, evaluation of strengths and weaknesses and recommendations for the proposed transaction. Design, evaluate and implement a stressed test analysis of the bank’s Corporate Domestic and Latin America portfolio in order to determine adequate credit exposures. Provide coaching, training and guidance to junior analysts and credit trainees. Prepare and present credit evaluations of prospective and current borrower’s financial situation to the Corporate Credit Committee.
