Group Sales Manager
-Sells and develops local corporate, group volume accounts and other business & transient travel.-Manages group account applications, monitors status of these accounts and updates the Director of Sales. -Meets preset corporate and local corporate volume room sales quotas. Assists in meeting departments overall sales goals. -Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and develops volume account sales strategies to accommodate goals of company.-Proactively calls on Local Corporate accounts, solicit new accounts through sales calls.-Ensures regular personal contact with existing clients and calls on prospective clients to actively sell properties.-Assists in promoting maximum transient business and cross sells group and banquet business with the Sales and Catering offices.-Prepares monthly market productivity reports and revenue summaries.-Prepares weekly sales report showing achieved client agreements, future sales volume and potential sales leads.-Maintains files, drafts correspondence, completes resumes and ensures billing instructions for groups and corporate reservations. -Communicates to Front Office Manager and additional support staff any pertinent client/sales needs or concerns. -Provides recommendations to the Director of Sales & Marketing, Reservations Manager and General Manager for improving product, policies and procedures. -Assists with direct mail, sales calls, VIP reservations and amenities.
