As a rising junior studying English Literature at The University of California, Los Angeles, I am interested in establishing a future career in the fashion industry, specifically in marketing, public relations, and journalism. With my 3+ years of customer service experience in and out of the beauty and fashion industry, I’ve learned vital skills like organization, communication, critical thinking, and discretion when working with higher-profile clients. I successfully communicated with editors, journalists, brand owners, and influencers/celebrities during my time with Now PR. Through interviews, emails, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions, I helped bring promotion to their work and their companies. I also pitched timely and trendy ideas for magazine articles surrounding beauty and fashion, along with writing articles for our clients. In addition to my experience writing for Now PR, I have been working on my own blog, Opinionated, for over a year now.
