In 2022, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communications from Boise State University!During Fall semester 2021, I interned at Boise State's Writing Center as a Consultant and fell in love with being that extra link for students when they are developing their writing skills. One skill that I always implement into my sessions involves approaching the work from a lens of empathy; doing this improves the chances of a student opening up and being receptive to feedback. The ability to collaborate with people across multiple demographics and identities enhances my personal pedagogy when it comes to being an educator. Aside from consulting, conducting research for my monthly newsletter is how I like to spend my free time. I never want to stop learning and sharing information from my unique perspective brings me great joy.
