I interned in the Merch/P&A program at JCPenney on the Girls’ Activewear and Bottoms Merchandise Action Team (MAT), which includes Buying, Planning, and Allocation roles. I spent 10 weeks learning what it takes to work in a retail corporate office. I was given various projects to facilitate my learning, including attending classes, pulling reports, participating in meetings, and giving business related presentations. I am very thankful that I got to participate in this program.
