HokieStone Core (HSC), is a student-managed club at Virginia Tech that welcomes Hokies from all areas of study, with an emphasis on STEM and Pamplin majors who are interested in exploring finance, investing, and the markets. Our community provides a collaborative and inclusive environment for members to develop their analytical and problem-solving skills while exploring the intersection of finance and technology.

Learn to Be is an online tutoring platform for volunteer tutors and families that can not afford traditional tutoring. I tutor students online every week for an hour. Responsibilities include communicating with families, arranging educational plans, and handling virtual communication services.

As a freshman, I worked as a part-time dining hall employee at Owens Food Court. My responsibilities included managing the operations of certain shops, training and supervising new employees on proper service techniques and strategies, and interacting with the student community and customers, which taught me proper customer service skills.During my time at Owens, I was described by my supervisors as an employee who is "eager to learn new positions [and] seamlessly fits into any team," according to my student evaluation.

The Next Step program by Codespeak Labs guides its participants through the development of various graphic design projects for a selected non-profit organization while teaching them both professional and digital art skills. As participants, my team and I worked alongside OC Goes Solar, an organization focused on increasing solar power usage in Orange County, CA. During the 6-week-long internship hosted by The Next Step, I created an Instagram post, a vertical banner, and an Earth Day poster towards their initiative. As well, I learned key graphic design principles alongside invaluable freelance and professional advice.
