I'm a future-oriented individual who is continuously learning and concentrating on self-development and growth. To strive towards being the best version of yourself requires commitment and an understanding that perfection is achieved by tackling weaknesses not eradicating flaws. My personal vision is contributing to a positive social impact on individuals and communities, while having the freedom to determine how I live life. FYfuture Inc. drives this vision forward by educating and assisting individuals to develop financial literacy skills while working towards creating the lifestyle of no alarm clocks, travel, and working when, where, and how I want.Background:I was born in Sheffield, England and moved to Kelowna, British Columbia with my immediate family when I was 7 years old. I am B.C. proud but I still try to travel as much as possible. Exploring our world puts a spark in my eye and fire in my soul. There is so much value in travel, which is heightened when you do it independently, and definitely do not dismiss staycations. I’m always open to travel suggestions, whether it be destination, activity, food, or whatever. Next locations on the list are Japan, South Korea, and Ireland but I’ll really go anywhere. Can’t wait for my next adventure!Alongside my degree in international development, I also took an interest in food security (and food in general); conflict and human rights; and humanitarian assistance. I'm coming out of a long period of inactivity but I do play the piano when I get a chance. Living in the Okanagan Valley has increased my appreciation for nature, especially mountains, as well as cultivated my taste and curiosity in wine. I have also grown to be a coffee lover with hopes to have my own espresso machine in the future.
