I was hired for a seasonal customer service position in the children's department. I learned various other skills such as weekly RFID scans of shoes and denim, pricing and signing, "building" walls, setting floor plans, rearranging departments. I had the opportunity to apply for the visual lead position in 2013 and was promoted there after. I then became in charge of the forms, setting the small appliance/ drapery departments, taking in deliveries, setting for back to school, Christmas and other holidays. I was a key carrier as well and regularly opened the store.
