My time at the university, both undergraduate and masters programs, have taught me to work with deadlines and under pressure. During my master's I learned to deal creatively and efficiently with crises. At Schlumberger Water Services (formerly Waterloo HydroGeologic Inc.) one of my roles was quality assurance specilist and I came to realize something that I've long suspected as a software user - a very important part of software development is doing everything imaginable to cause the program to break.
