The District Court is the principal trial court in South Australia. As an Associate I act as a personal, confidential and professional assistant to a Judge of the District Court, to whom I am assigned. I provide a comprehensive legal and research service to the Judge and assist both in and out of court. My additional duties, whilst acting as Senior Associate, include coordinating the support arrangements in courts to cover absences, liaising with supervising Judges and the Manager of Judicial Support to discuss issues relating to the Associate group and being the point of contact for the dissemination of information to the Associate group.
