- Maintain publication schedules; communicate with all parties involved in publishing projects including authors, editors, photographers, designers, researchers, peer reviewers, text and image rights holders, and other external contractors; maintain and track publication budgets- Consult and liaison with RIT Legal department on contracts and permission rights issues- Oversee editorial and peer review processes, including review of copyedited and designed text and final manuscript proof approval; negotiate and manage author and editorial services vendor contracts (copyeditors, proofers, indexers, designers); oversee digital and online journal content to ensure accuracy- Seek and encourage title acquisition- Submit CIP applications and liaise with Library of Congress- Assign and maintain ISBN log and purchases through Bowker- Write and edit marketing content including press releases; supervise marketing materials' distribution; write and edit content for the Press's online and print catalog- Contribute to website content; work with Press staff at promotional events such as book launches and book sales events

- Copyedit academic works in fields such as civil engineering, tourism, and agricultural education- Typed and edited handwritten book manuscript and guided author through the self-publishing process- Organized and formatted theses and dissertations for adherence to graduate school guidelines- Typeset and copyedited two issues of an open-access, science-based journal- Became sole typesetter for an open-access journal on extension education- Built relationships with individuals at Clemson University Press, SUNY Press, Purdue University, Boston University, and Michigan State University
