Planning tours and itineraries throughout Europe with a focus on France, Spain, Portugal, the Benelux and Scandinavia. Greatdays is a wholesaler to the travel industry, and therefore I work with groups to find the best itinerary and hotels for their taste and budget.I have been involved in individual marketing ventures, including brochure for group tours into Spain and France in conjunction with Brittany Ferries as well as brochure dedicated to rover cruising opportunities. This helped extend my product knowledge and revitalise the interest in these areas. I am responsible for managing the content of tour programmes for both coach operators and private groups by air and land. This involves developing ideas to fit with the client’s requirements including choosing the transport options, accommodation and excursions as well as visiting the areas in order to familiarise myself with them and be able to make recommendations. I negotiate with hotels to get the best prices and offer attention to detail in every aspect of the personalised quotation. I also follow up quotations and regularly liaise and communicate with clients to help with all aspects of their tour. I take responsibility for any changes that occur during the booking process and make the amendments as required.I love researching the new destinations and learning about the culture and highlights in order to provide my client with the best possible options for their stay in the area. I very much enjoy writing the itineraries for my clients and updating our website tours to reflect the ever changing nature of travel. I also have extensive knowledge of other destinations both in Europe and Worldwide to assist my clients in every way I can. I am also one of only 5 members of staff to be trained to sell travel insurance which is fully regulated by the FCA.
