For several years of my life, I have participated in numerous volunteer opportunities and mission work. I believe it's important to find a self-practical way to give back to others. Throughout my time serving I learned many life skills that translate into the professional setting. I learned the importance of adaptability and how to always keep my options open when faced with solving ways to complete a task. Respect is also huge to me because the only way to gain it is by giving it. One of my best experiences came from volunteering on the Hopi Native American Reservation in Arizona. This is where everything I learned came into play. I felt humbled to be let into such a private community and serve the people there while learning many new lessons from the Native People. As to my job experience, I worked as a front desk attendant for the Montgomery Village Foundation. While working here I improved on my human relation skills by interacting with members of my community daily. I found that my skills of being able to relate to others and bring harmony to specific situations provided well in being able to satisfy people's needs. I am excited to expand on my abilities work alongside people who are just as enthusiastic.
