My love for food, sport and health find me naturally within the sports nutrition space. From being a high level junior athlete, I understand the requirements. As a female, I understand the pressures. As a person, I understand the needs. Fostering positive relationships with food is forefront, along with my philosophy of prevention being key. My studies have allowed me the knowledge into the complexities of nutrition and how to optimise intake. In my practise, I value a holistic approach as best outcomes stem from collaborative efforts from various areas of expertise - including the client or athlete. Establishing strong connections with others goes hand-in-hand with this, which I place strong emphasis on. Having worked with Monash University's Sports Nutrition team, I have expanded my skill-set into metabolic testing, gut assessment and sports nutrition as a general. Specialising in exercise induced gastrointestinal symptoms (EIGS), I have deepened my knowledge and understanding on FODMAPs and also strategies to address EIGS. I am privileged to have worked with world-class Dietitians and learnt much from them.
