After successfully completing my Management and Finance studies in Europe, I came back to Mauritius in 2009.In September 2012 and after two great experiences at Naïade Resorts Ltd (now Lux* Resorts) and Connections Tourism Management Ltd, I decided to take a new challenge at Intrepedia Ltd and was sent on the mission to finalise the project of Villas Stylia (Mauritius), assist the Project Management team (Architect and Quantity Surveyor), follow the construction and market the property as short term holiday rental villas to foreigners.In the scope of my mission, I oversee all operations, but also sales & marketing and most importantly, administration (including Human Ressources Management, Accounting, Finance with Cash Flow Management, etc).After 9 years developing the business of Villas Stylia, rated Best Accommodation in Mauritius in its category and with a yearly occupancy rate of 70%, I am proud of what I have achieved.During these 9 years, I have also been involved in the creation and development of 11 luxury villas on the West Coast, a large accommodation project completely new to Mauritius and a couple of other projects.My goal in 2020 was to look for another challenge, but with the Covid and closure of borders, I did get my new challenge directly in-house!After the reopening of borders in 2021, where I put a lot of efforts in sales & marketing but also training and operations, I am now satisfied that the company is back on track.This also means that I am ready to take a new challenge and eager to prove that I can do more!
