Our Latin American team was responsible for migrating a legacy system in ASP VBScript, which was facing serious security issues and constant breaches, to a modern solution using ASP.NET Core MVC 6. We developed the new backend architecture, which makes API calls integrated with SQL Server as the database. On the frontend, we used HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery to ensure a modern and responsive interface. We optimized SQL queries and managed the cloud environment using Azure, ensuring greater efficiency and security. We also implemented a continuous integration process and automated deployment using DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
