I work with the faculty within the School of Dentistry to develop and implement development of curriculum for Pre-Clinical Courses in the Dental School Curriculum. I participate in Curriculum Development Meetings, Teaching Committee Meetings, and Student Progress Review Team meetings by providing input about best practices in education, curriculum, and assessment.I manage the Canvas Learning Management System and eMedley testing software within the School of Dentistry, supporting over 50 faculty members and their respective courses.I provide individual, small-group, and large-group education consultations and training sessions on topics including, but not limited to: Active Learning Strategies for Higher Education, Best Assessment Practices, Integrating Technology Tools into the Classroom, and Canvas Course Creation.I research and provide consultations about educational best practices, media content, instructional materials, and learning environments.

I taught all curriculum subjects to a class of learners with a wide range of academic abilities, interests, and learning needs. I integrated the Google Suite for active learning while managing a hybrid classroom of both in-person and online learners.I served as a mentor for three members of my team by coaching them in best practices for teaching mathematics.

I served as a team leader for a group of 20+ people who held varying roles within the school (Special and Gifted Education Teachers, Special Areas and Content Teachers, and English as a Second Language Teachers). I taught 5th, 6th, and 7th grade math simultaneously in a continuous achievement environment with an emphasis on personalized learning through focused, targeted teaching strategies. I also developed a year of project-based learning units for both 6th and 7th grade mathematics standards.I taught 5th grade Social Studies from the Turn of the Century to Present Day and served on Fulton County's standards-alignment team for the new Georgia Social Studies Standards of Excellence. I delivered trainings as a content expert to faculty at my school.I taught 5th grade Earth, Life, and Physical Science topics, as well as served on Fulton County's textbook adoption committee, which assisted in redelivering content for our new Georgia Science Standards of Excellence.I served on Fulton County's Standards Mastery Framework Item-Bank Vetting team as we curated a database of questions that aligned to the prioritized curriculum standards. I worked predominantly in vetting Middle School Science assessment questions.

I taught English to Speakers of Other Languages for students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. I planned differentiated, targeted lessons for students of varying levels of language acquisition within the domains of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I developed weekly small-group curriculum based on the learning goals that would be taught in a whole-group worship setting for students. I wrote scripted lesson plans, created activities, and developed resources for all volunteers to use when reinforcing the lesson in a small group environment.

I developed weekly small group curriculum and activities for Mount Paran's elementary and middle school Sunday worship environments. I was responsible for creating products for the elementary school children that will help reinforce what they were taught in their worship service. Additionally, I created discussion questions for the middle school students that allow them to engage in conversations about their faith within a small group setting.

I held a 5-day internship position (Sunday-Thursday) and contributed to the planning, set-up, decoration, and childcare for the birth-4 year old program at North Point Community Church. I attended weekly meetings, set and attained both short and long-term project goals, and was contracted to work as a staff member for certain church services and special events.
