The European Food Safety Authority is the agency of the European Commission dealing with risk assessment regarding food and feed safety.I was in charge of the development of the Zoonoses Data Collection application, the front end of a data collection project aiming at analysing and reporting data of human-transmissible animal diseases, antimicrobial resistance, microbiological contaminants and food-borne outbreaks. The data is submitted by the Member States and other reporting countries in accordance with Directive 2003/99/EC.The Zoonoses IT team included two developers, three beta-testers, and one IT helpdesk specialist.
