As an Internal Field Auditors I perform audits of our North American retail operations. Audits include analytical reviews of financial and non-financial information as well as testing of controls for every aspect of store operations. Specifically, I am responsible for developing a firm understanding of the stores, including policies and procedures and applying this understanding to analyze existing processes and provide suggestions to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls.

When I started caddying, I was eleven and I did it just as a way to make money. I got up early every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and had my parents drive me to the golf course to sit on the bench and wait for a loop for three weeks. Little did I know at that time that caddying would have such a big impact on my life. Since I started caddying I have learned how to interact and become quick friends with all types of people ranging from other caddies to businessmen and businesswomen to professional athletes. I have learned the type of hard work it takes to be promoted from a "C" caddie to an "A" caddie in a short period of time. I have learned about organizing and running charity outings and club events. All of these have helped me grow as a person and I am glad that I waited on the bench to start caddying.

In the summer of 2021, I had the privilege of working as an Intern at FleetTeam. Over the course of the summer, I got a full taste of the FleetTeam experience and enjoyed the phenomenal company culture and workplace, where I still hold the office putt-putt record. The program was twelve weeks, where I rotated and spent time with each of the four main teams, financial operations, data analytics, fleet managers, and business development. I started off with financial operations where I strengthened my overall understanding of financial statements and built an understanding of the company software system. With the data analytics team, I took this understanding of the software system and applied it to analyze client assets and create reports of trends with these assets. Next with the fleet managers, I was able to directly listen and work with clients to ensure all their needs were being met and the trends identified by the analytics team were clearly communicated. Lastly, I wrapped up with business development, where I was responsible for researching and identifying potential target clients and the contacts associated with them. The program offered a great opportunity to learn and grow professionally, and it was very engaging to see how the knowledge built in each rotation carried over and all tied together.

Due to the pandemic I saw the trend of virtual work, and took the opportunity to work virtually abroad through a program with Miami University. Through this program I interned for ten weeks with Wicker Hamilton. In this time I worked as a business development intern where I researched potential client firms and positional candidates in the European legal sector. It was a great experience that really helped me grow and learn to be adaptable and flexible working across time zones and completely virtually.

At the age of 12, my entrepreneurship mindest sparked a flame in me. I knew I loved looking after my younger siblings, and at the time I was really into sports as well. I decided the best way to merge these two was to build from scratch a youth summer camp. I got the help of some neighborhood friends and we formulated a plan for this camp. At first, I was just looking for a way to make some quick cash, with our idea being a weeklong camp for local kids ages 5-10. We set out a plan where each day we played a different sport in the morning, fed the kids lunch, and held a water activity in the afternoon. This simple camp idea slowly became a hit and is what sparked my interest in the business world. In order to successfully run the camp, we had to put our camp on paper, advertise to parents, actually operate a camp of 10-15 energetic kids, and stay on budget. All these combined made for a challenging week but one that was ran so successfully we had parents begging us to continue the camp.
