Project Coordinator
Current• Coordinates scheduling of ship to shore power electrical connections for a total of (11) locations across the United States and Canada. Communicates between system operators, port management and ship electrical engineers to ensure punctual, safe, and efficient shore power connections.• Develops project plan and directs annual re-commissioning for every shore power system, which includes but is not limited to: crane, hoist and jib certification inspections, oil sample tests, medium voltage cable testing electrical capacitor and battery bank testing. • Identifies and initiates the collection of information regarding newly shore power commissioned ships, including one-line drawings, ship door location drawings, and time current curves. • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and annual shore power connection summary reports provided to respective vessels, cruise line brands, and ports. • Creates and distributes contract proposals/estimates to cruise lines for yearly projected connections, maintenance, and labor costs.• Manages proprietary database software to capture electrical data, vessels specs and operator input.• Directs several projects including but not limited to: port lighting projects, port safety programs, database development and training, in-house administrative training programs.• Collects and audits electrical information daily to confirm accuracy of data captured for cost efficiency analysis, future project pricing, and strategic business planning.
