Alex works within the 1st Line of Defense for the Multifamily Division. He works with process owners on operational risk assessments, issue management, and operational risk events. He collaborates with Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit on risk and control matters. He is also experienced with controls testing on behalf of management. Alex works closely with financial audit teams, risk functions, and IT departments to assess the client's risk and control environment in support of the integrity of financial data in financial statement audits. He has held client meetings to understand the client's IT risk and control environment and performed testing of IT controls. He has additional experience working in the public sector with FISMA and FISCAM framework audits.
