Leading hosting architecture by developing hosting strategy through the evaluation of On Premise, Hybrid, Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure options, and building a FITS delivery plan with supplier’s/business sponsors to execute a critical transition with zero impact.Supporting negotiations with 6 key suppliers, translating requirements and validating viable solutions to deliver full disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring compliance to MoJ standards.Identifying opportunities for license consolidation/renegotiation through as-is and future state analysis, and realigning programme deliverables/plan, reengineering processes and governance to drive best practice and improved standards.Leading the review and assurance of design deliverables/architecture processes to enhance standards and quality of architecture function across the programme; ensuring the most efficient and cost effective BA transition.

Set up an Solution Architecture (SA) practice into the surface IM team, recruiting and mentoring 4 solution architects to form the core SA team; and leading a team of 9 architects on a number of projects worth up to £1m across the Surface Transport estate, Established architecture design templates, governance and review processes to standardise SA and improve quality/consistency of solution design; delivering a robust SA and architecture framework including design stages, standards, templates and RACI.

Lead role in the £mm National Offender Management Service (NOMS) OMNI programme to consolidate 100+ application services from 48 regional data centres into 3 centralised strategic national data centres. Audited and assessed application services, identifying as-is and future states with associated implications; developing transition solution designs to effectively reduce applications and consolidate hardware footprint.Designed transformation/consolidation roadmaps to deliver objectives with minimum service impact and successfully virtualised 50% of physical architecture to improve disaster recovery, resilience and cost base.
