• US Airways, Phoenix, AZ - COMSYS: Architected and Implemented a Office SharePoint Server 2007 Medium Farm solution in support of US Airways collaboration effort in a hybrid, physical and virtual environment. Deployment includes 2 x Web / Search Front-ends, 1 x Index and 1 x Application Server with a SQL Server 2008 Cluster on the back-end. All servers are Windows 2008 x64. Created scripts to deploy over a 130 content databases and site collections. Created customized sites for specialized use in dealing with Swine Flu pandemic. Also, deployed the SharePoint Training Kit to support the various Division and Departments training needs.

National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA: Implemented a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) publishing portal for the United States Army National Training Center and Fort Irwin Garrison. Project involved designing look and feel (banner graphics, custom master page, page layouts, and CSS modification) and migrating legacy content from Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 to MOSS. I also supported work on the Joint IED Defeat Intranet portal solution based on MOSS, also at Fort Irwin.

I was able to leverage my experience of running LCS 2005 SPS1 in a lab and on my demonstration machines to assist with the successful installation. LCS 2005 SP1 requires pre-planning prior to installation which was born out of working with it in a lab environment since it’s release. III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan (Independent: Rapidly stood up three Microsoft Best Practice and highly available SharePoint Portal Server 2003 (SPS) based portals to support the Asian relief efforts following the earthquake and subsequent tsunami disaster. Installed and configured Live Communications Server 2003 to support presence information within SharePoint. As an Operations Analyst, I was a team member with the Distributed Systems Services Operations Group. I provided 24X7 monitoring and support of MS Windows NT/2000, IBM AIX 4.3, and Sun Solaris 2.6 servers critical to Motorola's operation. Through the use of Tivoli and Remedy Action Request software, I diagnosed and resolved a variety of software and hardware related problems, coordinated 2nd and 3rd level support and provided necessary documentation on resolution efforts. Support tools used on a daily basis included Lotus Notes, Remedy Action Request System, Tivoli Enterprise console, ADSTAR Distributed Storage Manager (ADSM), Office 2000/XP and Exceed software. I also worked to integrate organization business data into a MS SharePoint Portal Server 2001 environment.Prior to that served as a team member with the Distributed Systems Services NT (DSSNT) Group; responsibilities included MS WINNT domain architecture planning and implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting of MS WINNT servers and clients using MS Systems Management Server (SMS) and Digital/Compaq Management software. I installed, configured and managed over 60 servers and 200 MS WINNT 4.0 workstations around the world, over a Wide Area TCP/IP Network. I resolved WINNT 4.0, network, file and printer problems submitted through the Remedy Action Request System. I designed and implemented the DSSNT SMS strategy for managing MS WINNT Servers and Workstations. I installed, configured and managed the CA anti-virus solution as well as the Compaq Management console and client agents. I interfaced with customers, assisting them with hardware and software purchase decisions as well as problem resolution.

Active Duty Military experience includes time as a Senior Intelligence Analyst, Special Security Representative, Security and Shift Supervisor, Automation / Information and Physical Security Manager, United States Army. I worked as an Intelligence Specialist for the Commander in Chief Pacific (CINCPAC), Joint Intelligence Center. Duties included a tour as a team member on the CINCPAC, J2 Staff, Command Center Watch and the Crisis Watch Center, during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I also served as a team member of CINCPAC’s Joint Special Operations Counter Terrorism Element, where I participated in several training and real world exercises (tactical and strategic) which interfaced with national level, intelligence and federal government agencies. I also worked on special projects that included a North Korea Missile Order of Battle Study. At the tactical level I managed the collection and analysis process, as well as the dissemination of strategic and tactical intelligence information to operational forces. I produced and presented numerous intelligence briefings to General Officers and Staff on global issues, as well as critical intelligence information pertinent to the organizations area of responsibility. I was the project manager for the construction of a Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and associated secure network connectivity. I researched and produced multiple crucial intelligence reports (Systems/Networks used included JDIS, ASAS, AMHS, MIDS-IDB, INTELINK, and GCCS).
