I'm currently employed as the General Manager at Baldwin Audio Visual Solutions. With over 17 years in the industry, I specialize in many areas of Audio-Visual technology, including virtual events and webcasting, complex video routing and projection, and accessibility services (SI, ASL/LSQ, CART).I studied at The Audio Recording Academy in Ottawa, Ontario. After graduation, I stayed with the school to mentor students and work with recording clients. That led to several freelance opportunities in the industry, one of them being at Baldwin. A few months after freelancing for Baldwin, I was offered a full-time position as their warehouse manager. I was then promoted to director of operations, and to the general manager position, where I've been now for over 10 years.At Baldwin, I oversee all divisions of the company. I manage the day-to-day operations, designs their growing list of services, coach employees to maintain exceptional client service, and ensure the Baldwin team have what they need to succeed.Baldwin has seen significant growth and expansion, including numerous in-house properties and long-term client contracts. When the pandemic brought the events industry to a stand-still, our team were able to retailor our offerings to support the new virtual event environment and design a state-of-the-art virtual event studio to help the company continue its growth. Three years on, our virtual events studio has become one of the greatest successes in the company’s history.
