I was drafted into this role from the TSVM role as this role suited my skill sets better. Again, this was a new role and the team, and I created the job role and process we would follow to support range review activity to support the need to take range and space performance into account. With my team, I am accountable for ensuring the ranges within the all categories are performing to the target. This requires in depth business analytics. I provide feedback and suggestions on range improvement with regards to space and to be able to carry out this role I use SAP, CKB, Space Planning, JDA AO and advanced excel skills. After seeking a head office function I was offered the role of Planogramming and Ranging Specialist. This allowed myself to use my merchandising skill for a greater impact across a company. I was responsible for end to end creation of planograms. I was also responsible for ranging the right planograms and SKUs to the correct store through SAP. By carrying out this role I became familiar with SAP, IKB and Space Planning software packages. I also developed my project management skills as well as learnt some more advance features on Microsoft Excel. This opportunity also allowed me to work on my own workload management. My contract was unfortunately ended early due to a restructure within the Store Support Office. Luckily I was able to secure a new permanent role as a Trading Space Merchandiser within the Store Support Office

I have established myself as the centre of excellence for my function in the region my store sits in.

Trade sponsor for stores in the Bournemouth area. Providing opportunities and coaching what good looks like. Ensuring my store provides the best shopping trip for the customer. I was accountable for aspects of the stores operation. I was known for delivering green KPI’s and notably double digit LFL sales growth. I had a small management team that i would coach and manage to deliver great routine and processes by putting the customer at the centre of everything we done. I ensured all people KPIs ( Attendance, Holidays etc) were managed and dealt with correctly.

I supported the store manager in KPI delivery. I managed all people aspects of the store. I held my team leader and customer assistants accountable for there role. I also supported development of my team leaders towards junior management roles. Throughout my times as Deputy Manager i was sent to struggling stores to help bring them to the required standard.
