All-round activity, notably in Regulatory, Corporate, Commercial, Civil, Labor, Tax, M&A, Intellectual Property, Compliance and Data Protection areas. Work as leading consultant/business partner in strategic business, day-to-day advisory services, resolving questions in existing commercial/legal relations and supporting litigation and legal consultancy.- Implementation/adaptation of the General Data Protection Law, working as DPO.- Creation of the Compliance department in Brazil; leading and implementing the Ethics and Compliance Program, working as Compliance Officer in Brazil, elaborating Anticorruption Policies, training and investigation, area orientation in relations with health professionals and sponsorship for hospitals and doctors.- Risk Management: data collection/analysis related to conformity and strategic-response elaboration; support for process and program improvement, including important events such as regional conformity review councils.- Support for the Commercial area, aligning strongly with relevant teams in order to understand the business pipeline and support risk mitigation. Commercial-transaction elaboration and negotiations.- Litigation Coordination; work on due-diligence, merger and acquisition processes, direct interaction with government agencies such as ANVISA (National Health Vigilance Agency), IBAMA (Brazilian Environmental Institute), INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property).- Tax Management: Obtaining 12-year tax benefits from SEFAZ/ES (State Revenue Secretariat) reducing ICMS (value-added tax) on wholesale and imported medication sales.- Internal consulting on labor, tax, brand and patent issues, as well as managing all ongoing judicial procedures.- Spearheading negotiations with the Employers Union on the dismissal of 120 employees due to a production-line closure at the factory, achieving zero post-dismissal labor suits. - Analysis and review of the most varied national and international contracts.

- Working as correspondent counsel in Rio de Janeiro on corporate, tax and litigation questions.

All-round activity notably in Regulatory, Corporate, Civil, Commercial, Labor, M&A and Tax areas, as well as managing Compliance; direct advisory services for the President and Directors; - Analysis and elaboration of Commercial and International Contracts. - Tax Management; tax-control implementation and review. - Negotiations for acquiring land and building a factory in Espirito Santo State, obtaining tax benefits deferring ICMS for 25 years.- Activity in due-diligence, merger and acquisition processes. - Acquisition of medication from other Brazilian companies, significantly increasing hospital segment market-share; registry of over 50 medications at ANVISA; filing a writ of mandamus with favorable refusal to provide medication to the national health service (SUS) for transplanted patients replacing the reference medication with 200% greater cost for the Government, gaining BRL 60 million in revenue for the company. - Sanitation-process control: working with government agencies such as ANVISA, IBAMA, INPI, Statute elaboration and registry.

Working in Civil, Commercial, Tax, Corporate, Labor and Litigation areas; direct advisory services for the President and Directors; - 70% reduction in the number of judicial proceedings, promoting judicial agreements and preventive risk mitigation; deployment of the code of conduct and governance policies; certifying distributors in Latin America, and increasing business in the importation and distribution segment.
