As a result the airline's airport procurement strategy was developed to deliver both short-term savings and a >10% reduction in cost over the long term. Further work assisted in developing easyJet’s sustainability strategy, advising on carbon offsetting, operational improvements and future fleet strategies to advance towards ‘Net Zero’. Separately commercial due diligence advice was provided to institutional investors during the privatisation of a major European airport group.

Independent review of the Heathrow 2022-2026 business plan, assessing Commercial Revenue and Operational Expenditure (both >£6bn), scrutinising airport submissions and comparators for efficiency. Recommendations were adopted by Heathrow’s Regulatory body, the Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA).Reviewed the efficacy and efficiency of the £26m Future Aviation Security Solutions (‘FASS’) programme, providing recommendations to the UK Department for Transport and Home Office for the management of future security programmes.Benchmarked airspace change processes and Performance Based Navigation implementation globally to inform Heathrow stakeholders.

Delivering punctuality and capacity improvements at the world's most congested hub. Responsible for managing £60m of Heathrow's capital investment in innovative ATM technology and airspace management projects to enhance runway resilience and efficiency. Secured shareholder investment, airline buy-in and EU funding for projects; led commercial negotiations; led a team assuring overall programme scope, schedule and value for money.

Coordinated the >£3bn Q6 Business Plan setting out how the airport would deliver the best service in the world and deliver >£600m of cost reductions. Defined the strategic reporting cycle for Heathrow, developed KPI targets, dashboards and financial risk/opportunity forecasts. Secretariat to the 'Q6 Realisation Board', reporting to the CEO and CFO.

Responsible for leading a team delivering strategic insight to the airports' executives and board. Extensive support to Heathrow's submissions into UK's Airport's Commission, including quantifying capacity, forecasting network demand and economic benefits. Succeeded in shortlisting the airport for expansion.
