Current Leading the structuring of music related IP debt facilities through analysis of historical performance, construction of cash flow models, and development of covenants. Deals range from $100K-$50M and number 2-6/quarter. Establishing the process for underwriting loans to musicians, royalty collection entities, and independent music publishers and record labels. By incorporating a thorough inspection of financials, regular review of market research, and application of credit fundamentals, over 50 loans were issued totaling an excess of $175M. Analyzing financials and collateral valuations to ensure satisfactory company performance and covenant compliance; as well as identify risk factors, determine reasonableness of projections, and assess discounting methodology (i.e. rationale for DCF, terminal value, discount rate, and comparable multiples). Managing syndicated IP related facilities ranging from $35M-$500M, involving the negotiation of agreements, pro-forma evaluation of acquisitions, and presenting credit facility changes and/or amendments for approval. Providing guidance to internal sales team, participating in client meetings, and collaborating on credit strategy.
