I achieved a First class BSc Honours degree through this course, which has helped me to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the technologies involved in the creation and delivery of digital media. With the gained appreciation of the theory, application and cultural context for the use and development of new media, giving confidence to critique and explore new areas as they are developed. During my studies, I've gained expertise in the use of computer-based authoring tools to create, 3D media, as well as exploring physical computing and human-computer interaction. Led by senior VFX artist Dr Jin Zhi along with world-leading VFX Facilities: MPC, Frame store and DreamWorks. Who offered invaluable lessons in Industry practises such as production pipelines, tasks, roles, techniques and current trends in the VFX industry. I also had the privilege to attend live Q&A sessions with the artists from each company for a deeper learning experience.
