I am a Government Relations Manager working for leading Australian transport solution provider and toll-road operator, Transurban.In my role, I am responsible for the oversight and coordination of the company's Government Relations at the federal level within the Corporate Affairs team.Before joining Transurban, I was senior media professional with almost 20 years’ experience, working primarily for the Seven Network.Currently living in Sydney, I have also been based in Los Angeles, Canberra and Adelaide.Various roles undertaken include Senior Federal Political Correspondent, NSW Political Reporter, Foreign Correspondent, Producer and Chief-of-Staff.With a major focus on politics, I have developed and maintained strong relationships with politicians across all levels of government, all states and all political parties.As former member of the Federal Press Gallery and current member of the NSW Press Gallery, I have developed a deep understanding of political processes and what influences political decision-making.Overseas and in Australia, I have been responsible for reporting on, and the coordination of, significant global events on every continent; managing small teams and budgets in high pressure, deadline-driven environments.Mine has been a career built on hard work, teamwork, organisation and ambition, with a reputation for always delivering results of the highest standard.
