Managing the North America global mobility program and working on its harmonization between both legacy companies for 2,000 employees, reporting to the Head of HR North America. • Global Mobility: coordinating international mobility transfers (inbound vs. outbound; long-term (< 15 assignees) vs. permanent transfers (< 80 assignees) vs. short-term); overseeing both legacy entities’ Global Mobility programs; Reviewing and implementing procedures and policies, training HR and managers in North America; Collaborating with the Corporate office in Spain to implement a new Global Mobility policy, international travel tool, review the selection of vendors. • Immigration: overseeing both legacy entities’ current processes and cases, ensuring that management is receiving the support they need to conduct business; Analyzing combined populations to strategize our immigration program. • Benefits (until Dec 2018): worked toward harmonizing the US benefits plans between both legacy entities effective 1/1/2019 (implementing new plan designs, selecting benefits carriers and a benefits admin platform, coordinating open enrollment).

Managing the company’s US international mobility, immigration and benefits programs for about 400 employees, reporting directly to the HR Director. • Global mobility: Coordinating international mobility transfers (< 10 inbound/outbound + 5 new permanent transfers per year) working closely with overseas HR teams and external vendors; Ensuring the correct processing of assignee compensation, benefits and expenses from a tax perspective; Assisting assignees on relocation, immigration and tax policies and programs; • Immigration: Acting as an expert advising employees and management on US and non-US immigration matters; Responsible for preparing US visa applications working closely with immigration lawyers; Assisting US employees in obtaining foreign visas/permits when travelling outside the US; • Benefits: Responsible for designing and analyzing the company’s US and Canada (< 5 employees) benefits plan through negotiating with broker and carriers, leading discussions with CEO to execute benefits strategy including implementing new broker and carriers, coordinating open enrollment; Supervising the benefits administrator responsible for the day-to-day administration of the US company’s benefits plan and for leave and disability administration; Ensuring regulatory compliance by filing form 5500 for pension and health, forms 1095C and 1094C; • Human Resources: Administering and implementing policies and programs such as wellness program, employee retention plan, and review of employee handbook; Advising management on policies and procedures.
