In addition, I oversee multiple organizational projects to design, implement, and evaluate organizational programs, including health & safety initiatives, accounting systems, and improved work procedures.Key Achievements:• Prepared and implemented a health & safety program for the organization, including identifying the need for new emergency, fire safety, and first aid programs, creating plans in line with Occupational Health & Safety requirements, and scheduling training for all front-line staff.• Created a task accountability calendar to ensure the completion of required tasks during all shifts, such as restocking, cleaning, and plant watering, leading to improved performance as well as increased employee engagement.• Designed a new and efficient accounting system¸ including developing a process to initiate automatic reports from the Point of Sale System and collaborating with the Finance team to implement Lean Six Sigma principles to improve productivity and reduce errors. • Developed an improved ticketing process for special outdoor events, which involved measuring outdoor areas, analyzing potential ticket sales scenarios, budgeting, and collaborating with online ticketing platforms, leading to the development of a newly integrated ticketing system that increased attendees at special events by 30%.

I conducted geophysical surveys such as induced polarization in various remote field locations, using a wide range of equipment in order to detect subsurface mineral deposits. I also utilize and maintain a variety of equipment on-site, including generators, receivers, and transmitters, ensuring compliance with all required safety processes and procedures.

Vandusen Botanical Garden

I provided exceptional customer service to all clients, including promoting and selling admissions and memberships, as well as responding to customer questions and resolving conflicts. I also communicated important information to customers regarding Van Dusen Botanical Garden’s tours, educational programs, and plant sales.

I delivered an exceptional customer experience in a high-end café, which included responding to customer requests, taking orders, and preparing food and drinks as per client requests. Additionally, I provided new hire training, which included educating new staff about processes and procedures, operations, customer service, and company policies.

I oversaw all aspects of data entry as part of a team of 12 technicians to inspect, record, and log all building components of a chemical plant, including items such as valves, actuators, and regulators.Key Achievements: • Created and implemented a data entry system utilizing Microsoft Excel to successfully log all photos, locations, and specification numbers of 1,000’s of items in an industrial setting.• Successfully uploaded all data into the SAP database, including photos and all relevant information, resulting in a comprehensive online system for employees to access data and information regarding building components.• Completed a variety of safety training programs, including WHMIS, OSHA Safety, and Ladder & Harness Safety.
