I am in charge of SAB's social media accounts and my job is to advertise all of their upcoming events on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. I also come up with promotion give-a-ways for some of their events.

Illinois College

I interned for the Sports Information Director, Alex Keil, at Illinois College. My main focus was on baseball. I learned about all pre-game and post-game tasks in the press box like; creating programs for home games, working the scoreboard, understanding the basics of a live statistics program, and announced a game. I also wrote press releases and assisted in conducting an interview of the head baseball coach.

Jacksonville, Illinois

I would collect data for a club on campus called "Peer Health Educators." So they would hold events like bring in a guest speaker to talk about a certain topic, and I would make evaluation sheets for the people who attended these events to fill out and at the end. I would collect them and look at each sheet and provide numbers on whether people enjoyed the program and what needed to be changed, etc.
