Having graduated in 1982 at the School of Architecture in Nancy, and after more than 20 years of valuable work experience gained in other offices, Alexis Bourrat set up his own practice in 2005. Notably he was the Senior Project Architect for 12 years working on large international projects for the Paris based office of Santiago Calatrava Architects & Engineers based in Zurich and New York. Currently, he is mainly working on private residential projects including new constructions, extensions to existing buildings, and the remodeling and refurbishing of apartments, houses and stately homes, some examples of which are illustrated below. He collaborates periodically with David Long Architects based in London and during 2013, he also served as the facade consultant for a high rise tower project for luxury apartments in Taipei, now complete.
