Manages public health in over 140 different facilities throughout Monongalia county, WV.Conducts thorough inspections of facilities to ensure they are in compliance with health codes and regulations. Manages disease surveillance by conducting investigations into all potential rabies exposures. Maintains clean indoor air practicing in both public and private sector by conducting inspections and performing radon testing. Works as a liaison between state government policies and the public by educating them and communicating with each facility manager.

Collaborated with WVU faculty and local health department staff to produce both qualitative and quantitative research.Using epidemiological methods, we distributed surveys seeking information related to injury control and prevention. Conducted data entry, analysis, and presentation. Used relevant knowledge in both health policy and epidemiology.

In a hospital setting, I was responsible for monitoring the safety of over 20 patients.Completed trainings related to safety and mental health in order to provide the best care to my patients. Communicated any safety concerns with hospital staff and brought in extra care providers as necessary.

I was an intern who assisted in laboratory experiments and data collection. I worked on a study involving E-cigarette juice and testing it for a toxic response from the respiratory system.

I work on a research team in the department of exercise physiology. We are investigating enzymatic activity and its role in glucose metabolism. This has taught me many skills including basic data entry as well as multiple research protocols.
