I am so excited to be working alongside the PTs and OTs at BRRH!

- Participated in the building of two homes for qualifying families. I assisted in the framework, siding, and roofing of the home for a few days.- Participated in an after school program for the kids of the surrounding schools.

- Managed and collected public entry fee at pool entry.- Oversaw the signing in requirements for public entry.- Relayed the rules and regulations to citizens prior to their pool entry.- Assigned wrist bands to all those who paid.

- Provided instruction and guidance to new guards.- Ensured the daily chore were completed and that everything was ready for public swimsessions.- Verified the money collected for public swim, pool passes and family swim. Completednecessary reports for business office and bank deposit.- Entered lifeguards’ daily hours in the logbook.- Logged the payroll for the lifeguards and swim instructors biweekly.

- Responsible for the safety of 100+ swimmers at a given time.- Maintained a clean environment in and around the pool with daily chores.

- Provided detailed and specific step-by-step instruction of the various swimming stokes and techniques to all aged students.- Educated students on life saving techniques.- Assisted special needs children and adults with swimming inside and outside of the pool.

- Gained 20 observation hours under a Licensed Occupational Therapist.- Observed the treatment of a number of young patients including those with autism, ADHD, down syndrome, and other developmental and behavioral disabilities.- Gained direct patient contact and care experience for those with varying needs and accommodations.

- Assisted in the teaching, managing, and assisting a group of people with art projects.- Independently managed the opening and operations of the art studio.- Ensured that the chores were carried out daily.- Greeted and assisted customers upon entry of the art store and helped them with anyquestions and concerns.- Operated the cash register and associated retail equipment including barcode scanner, giftcertificates, and booking of events.
