My name is Alexis Hewitt and I attend the University of North Texas where I will be graduating in December 2016. I obtained a dual athletic scholarship in basketball and track and field to the University of Louisiana in 2013. Throughout my athletic career, I've learned that I work harder than those around me because I want to be incomparable. I also earned an academic scholarship with the Emerging Scholars Program and a position on the Dean’s list. In the same year I was honored in being named Athlete of the Year. I graduated salutatorian and student of the year from Booker T. Washington High with a 4.5 GPA. I grew up in a single parent household where I was taught to always work hard for what I want and strive to be the best at anything I do. I make it my duty to set myself a-part, and make a difference in everything I do. Within months of working at any job, I earn a promotion. I worked as a Retail Store Administrator and began as an associate. After three months I advanced to a store lead, managing the building. I am not complacent when it comes to a certain position; I will work as hard as possible to not only excel in my career, but assist the company to exceed their expectations. I am able to complete any job presented to me. I have designed logos for a self-own fitness business , composed websites for personal brands, written/directed/produced a web-series via YouTube that illustrates the college-life, reported for a news cast at the University of North Texas, etc. I can offer any company what they are seeking and more.
