The Academy for Precision Learning is an inclusive K-12 school serving students across the autism spectrum along with their typically developing peers in an inclusive, academically challenging and socially vibrant environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Instructional Responsibilities:• Provide individualized attention and instruction to students who require support• Supervision of students while Head Teacher is engaged 1:1 with students• Implementation of behavior management plans for students• Use of data for data-based decision-making regarding student performance• Consults regularly with Head Teacher, Assistant Teacher, BCBAs, and Executive Director about student academicand social performanceClassroom Administration Responsibilities:• Production and maintenance of instructional materials• Regular completion of side jobs as assigned by Head Teacher, Assistant Teacher, or Administrative Staff• Charts data in a timely manner and in accordance with APL standards• Organization and maintenance of data and materials• Performs duties as assigned by Head or Assistant TeacherOther Responsibilities:• Regular and consistent communication with Head Teacher, Executive Director, and Administrative Staff• Adheres to policies and procedures as stated in Employee Manual• Exhibits professionalism•Positive attitudes and actions• Accepts direction• Positively responds to constructive feedback•Flexible and adaptive to change• Supports the learning of other team members• Personnel paperwork is completed in a timely manner

Assisting those with mental illness, particularly schizophrenia, substance abuse, and bipolar disorder in a 24-hour group home by:-Mentoring: assisting residents with daily living skills tomaintain tenancy (e.g., paying rent; getting along with peers;basic problem solving;asking for assistance.)-Teaching residents activities of daily living skills,such ascooking, personal grooming, and interpersonal relationshipcommunication skills.-Monitoring medication-Recovery: empowering consumers with the recovery modelprocess of change through improvement of their health andwellness, to live a self-directed life, and to strive to reachtheir full potential.-Clinical documentation: Documenting in consumer’s recordsprogress notes, monthly summaries, service plans, andrequired forms.

-Increasing campus-wide awareness of all services-Connecting clients with our counselors by referring which counselors may fit their needs and-Scheduling appointments-Handling confidential client files and information

-Marketing and increasing campus-wide awareness of all department services and events-Orchestrating events such as career fairs, information sessions, lectures, etc., including the first-ever Asia Pacific Career Conference-Co-Chair and Logistics/Marketing Committee Chair of the Asia Pacific Career Conference for 2 years
