Alexis is a licensed attorney and has spent the past 10+ years of her career in corporate law, project management, and business operations. Prior to Krause Bell Group, Alexis co-founded a business of her own, served as Vice President and In-house Counsel for a legal document assistant firm, and practiced traffic law as a solo practitioner. With experience in managing people, processes, and data, Alexis has been responsible for developing corporate policies based on laws, regulations, and best practices in the industry, figuring out practical ways to implement company policies, improving processes, writing technical documents, training, HR, contract review and drafting, and consulting and advising leadership on legal matters affecting the business. Alexis’ pro bono work includes volunteer legal assistance on wrongful eviction, unlawful expulsion, and child custody cases. An avid equestrian, she currently serves on the board of California Coastal Horse Rescue as Vice President. Alexis holds a Juris Doctor degree and is a published co-author of four legal self-help books. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys traveling, horseback riding, surfing, running, and spending time at home with her husband and their potbellied pigs.
